Sunday, May 14th is Mother’s Day and it is always a very special day for a family and a parish. We especially wish to remember our dear mothers who have been called by God to eternal life. We have placed a notebook next to the donors tree and another at the foot of the Sanctuary for you to write in the name of your deceased mother. They will be remembered and prayed for at all the Masses on Mother’s Day.

Mother’s Message

You will agree that there is Only One Mother in our life. This poem summarizes the role and important place of a mother in our life.

“Hundreds of stars in the pretty sky,
hundreds of shells on the shore together,
hundreds of birds that go singing by,
hundreds of lambs in the sunny weather,
hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn,
hundreds of bees in the purple clover,
hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
but only one mother the world wide over.”

So keep all the mothers in our prayers and may the Lord bless all of them through the intercession of Our Mother Mary, who is the model of all Mothers. Hence, I invite you to pray this for our mothers:

I said a Mother’s Day Prayer for you to thank the Lord above for blessing me with a lifetime of your tenderhearted love. I thank God for the caring you’ve shown me through the years, for the closeness we’ve enjoyed in times of laughter and of tears. And so, I thank you from my heart for all you’ve done for me and I bless the Lord for giving me the best mother there could be!
