Feast Day of Eugene de Mazenod, OMI

On May 21st we celebrate the Feast of St. Eugene de Mazenod, OMI, founder of the Oblates of Mary Immaculate, Patron Saint of the Dysfunctional Families.

We entrust all of our families under his care and pray that through his intercession we may follow Our Lord Jesus very closely.

Prayer to St. Eugene

God of Mercy, bring to my family and me a more favorable future.
Restore in us what is lacking in love, unity and peace.

Keep us focused on Jesus, your Son.
May He, our Savior and Lord, touch us with tenderness, and end our present pain and sorrow.

Through the prayers of St. Eugene de Mazenod, Patron Saint of troubled and dysfunctional families, may our difficulties be lifted as we experience the healing power of Your love for us.

Through the gift of your grace, transform our struggles into stepping stones leading to your Kingdom. Fill our hearts with joy and trust as we continue our journey forward in faith. Lead us to wholeness, holiness, and heavenly glory.

Saint Eugene, Pray for Us.

New Roof 2020

My Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

I am happy to inform you that the Roof project of the Sacred Heart Church has been completed. Really it looks very beautiful and many have told me that the Work is done well.

At this time I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Sacred Heart Committee and its members who helped to raise the fund towards this project and work tirelessly. Along with the committee, there has been great support from the organizations and groups of the parish in all the possible ways. Last but not least also there are many parishioners who generously contributed their time, talent, and treasure wholeheartedly to accomplish this great work. We are able to finish this work because of you and your support. We have posted the Church’s Roof pictures so that you can see the completed work. Once again thank you so much for everything. May God bless you and your families!

God Be With You

The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? Because the loaf of bread is one, we, though many, are one body, for we all partake of the one loaf.

– 1 Corinthians 10:16-17
